Children's Fellowship finale

We ended the year in Children's Fellowship with a picnic in Cox's Park, a park alongside the Ohio River that Stephanie, Vincent, and I had never been to. The kids played on the playground and a little baseball, then spent much of the time throwing rocks and sticks into the river and poking a dead fish. Luke grilled hamburgers and hot dogs adn we ate, Vincent and Jessi paid more attention to each other than helping with the kids, and Obama supporters among the parents and staff wondered about my Team Hillary shirt. Though a tad cold, it was sunny and the sun was setting beautifully over the river - on Stephanie and my anniversary evening - as we left. We'll consider continuing with Children's Fellowship next year, as Vincent investigates volunteering in the children's department of our local library this summer.
