Stephanie's mother, Nancy, and stepfather Bob faced a harrowing day yesterday. Nancy's four hours of chemotherapy at the Cancer Center turned into a ful day, in part because hospital staff had to travel around the state to find more medication for her. Nancy said she slept longer - 12 hours - after it all, than she has for a long time. Nancy keeps receiving medication at home through today. She said the side effects could have been worse. Stephanie also got some of her students around one of her new passions - Sudoku - number search logic puzzles that one of her colleagues got her into - that it turns out Stephanie's grandmother (Grandma Mary, Nancy's mother) - also does. The Sudoku puzzles Stephanie's students tried related to their lesson, because they included shapes from the weather phenomena they were studying. We also ordered floral paint-sprayed black rose wrist corsage for Vincent to give to his prom date Saturday.
