Stephanie and I were reminiscing (mostly fondly) about our prom experiences as high school juniors - in my case, at Leon High School (pictured above), in 1979; in Stephanie's case, at Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS), in 1990 (although both proms were actually off-site - Leon's at an armory on Capital Circle East; CAHS's at now no longer there, Villa Milano's) (Ironically, both of us went with non-high school students several years older than we were.). We and Jessi's parents will both keep a close eye on the two of them (which is easier, since neither are drivers). But we'll still also hope and pray that the two of them make good choices and steer clear of some of the activities that - let's just say - we witnessed on our junior prom nights.
