It's Derby week in Louisville, although we've missed two of the week's main events: the Great Steamboat Race (Wednesday), because we were at Children's Fellowship, and the Pegasus Parade (today - because of Vincent's ring ceremony and our sick dog). But we do plan to go to Derby Eve and Derby parties this weekend, and this afternoon a lunch for/with our semi-colleague, Cynthia, who helps direct the congregationaln surveys projec I work on, at work, transitioned into our second annual Derby party, where we decorated (and wore) hats. Pictured our Cynthia and all of our colleagues at lunch (at a table in our office) and then (in two separate pictures) Cynthia and two top people in the office (Deborah and Jack). (I actually inadvertently saw a smidgen of the parade today too, late, on a book run for Vincent.) May the races begin!
