Brain biopsy

My step-brother, Bobby, went in for a brain biopsy on the tumor they have seen through a MRI and may have been causing his multiple daily seizures. Unfortunately, since Bobby's tumor is on the right side of the brain and in the area of the brain just behind the ear, which means where the major artery to the brain comes in, they were not able to do a simple drill and needle biopsy. They had to make the incision and actually open up the area of his skull to go in and take the biopsy. This was a pretty major operation. Bobby and his wife, Terree, had to be at the OSU hospital at 5:00 a.m. for the procedure at 7:00. They are keeping him over the weekend in ICU to keep him under observation. Keeping him in ICU will also limit possible infections. Keep Bobby and Terree in your thoughts as they wait for the results (they were told they won't get any results until next week) and recuperate.
