Kara DioGuardi - singer, songwriter, and music producer - joins the "Amerian Idol" crew as a fourth judge. Colleague to be, Paula Abdul, has already wondered out loud about the effect on chemistry (and how will they decide about ties in the early rounds?). I'm guessing that Kara will be around for the "Idol" Louisville 2nd round next month at Churchill Downs. We'll see what other surprises await us in Season 8?
