Today we had two grab bars installed in Martha's bathroom, one by the outside door to the carport, and one by the outside door to the trashcan. While the Independent Living Solutions people were still here I asked them about putting up the new shower head/hose that Penny, Perry's sister, had bought. I had tried to put it up earlier but was unable to remove the old shower head. I just wasn't strong enough. The guy who did all the work was more than happy to do it. He arrived at 9:00 and was done before 10:30. He even put down a metal piece between the kitchen and the storage room to keep the tile down so Martha won't trip.
Martha tried everything but the shower head out before the man left. Now we are on to finding a cleaning service to come in once a week or every other week. Any suggestions anyone?

Yes! My former students' Mexican moms (Mrs Aldaz and Mrs Marines)have been doing an excellent job cleaning Dr Platt's house. Unfortunately, I don't have their phone numbers with me now that school's out. Please call Dr P: 385-9043/284-0963 for their numbers. You won't be disappointed. Dr Platt can give a good reference.
