The Life Before Her Eyes

I saw most of the “Life Before Her Eyes,” dramatic and occasionally confusing movie that flashed back between a 17-year-old wild girl (played by Evan Rachel Wood, in a somewhat similar role to her in “Thirteen”) and her straighter friend (played by Eva Amurri, in a somewhat different role than her in “Saved”) and good times and tragedies they face in their small town high school and that same girl as a suburban art history instructor, spouse, and parent 15 years later (played by Uma Thurman). It’s interesting that the movie makers chose different actors to play people 15 years apart. Although the role reprises her “Thirteen” role somewhat, I thought Wood was sizzling again. Eventually, this movie will remind you of another movie also. What do you think happened?
