Thursday Vincent and his Brown School and Roskilde school classmates went to Odense, the home of Hans Christian Andersen (Andersen's house pictured above), Danish writer (now Disneyized ... The Little Mermaid). Afterwards, they found themselves on the beach along the Baltic Sea, where typically two or three of them go swimming. But this time many of the students - along with Molly, Vincent's teacher's daughter - went swimming. We don't see Vincent in the pictures, and so we don't know whether Vincent was camera-shy or five years in Florida (plus his increasing dislike of going swimming) was enough to persuade him that sensible people don't break the ice - even in June - to go swimming.
